Events
Whether it's an event in a small town, or a Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk/Run in a major city, your participation in a Lustgarten Foundation event can help bring us closer to a cure for pancreatic cancer. The Mission of The Lustgarten Foundation is to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research. Since 1998, we've provided more than $65 million toward promising research studies, but the fight continues - and you can play an important role in our quest to find a cure for this deadly disease.
If you don't see an event near you, why not help create one in your community. Please call and ask to speak with one of our Event staff members. They'll be happy to explain how you can help, and guide you through the process of being part of our mission - a mission to fund research, raise awareness and ultimately defeat pancreatic cancer.
In 2001, the Lustgarten Foundation held its first walk on Long Island. Today, there are more than thirty Walks/Runs nationally, with thousands of individuals, families and friends joining together in the fight against pancreatic cancer. Since 2001, these walks/runs have raised in excess of $19.7 million for research
We've proven there's strength in numbers! Find a Walk/Run near you, and together we can step closer to a cure!
Each December, The Lustgarten Foundation teams up with Cablevision Systems Corporation, AMC Networks Inc. and The Madison Square Garden Company, to present the Holiday Rock & Roll Bash. The event features the music of JD & The Straight Shot, led by James Dolan.
Lustgarten Foundation Board Member, Marcia Lustgarten, along with her close friend, Buron Wallack and his family created this Outing as a way to honor Marc while raising dollars for research. Each year, more than 70 golfers gather for a day on the links, followed by a dinner and awards ceremony.
And thanks to Cablevision's support of the Foundation, 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.
