After losing her father, John Vose to pancreatic cancer, Brittany Vose an 18-year-old strives to raise a million dollars to make a difference in pancreatic cancer research. When she was just 5-years-old, she quickly learned the devastating impact of America’s fourth deadliest cancer with just a six percent survival rate. Realizing that she doesn’t want anyone else to go through what she did, she has joined together with the Lustgarten Foundation to fight this deadly disease by organizing the18 Hole Stroll at the Travelers Championship. The Pancreatic Cancer 18 Hole Stroll at The Traveler’s Tournament will feature a continental breakfast, entertainment, t-shirt, speakers and a silent auction. Enjoy an early morning stroll along this beautiful PGA golf course, wearing the color purple! This is a national event and we would like to have hundreds of people wearing the purple t-shirts representing Pancreatic Cancer at the 18th hole during the awards ceremony, “Crowning the 2014 Champion”! Don’t miss out on a fabulous and fun day!
The Lustgarten Foundation is excited to announce that the Travelers Insurance Companies, Inc. will match dollar for dollar, every donation to the 2014 Cromwell 18-Hole Stroll up to $25,000. With this generous commitment by Travelers, this event could be our largest yet! Please join us at the 2014 Cromwell 18-Hole Stroll on Sunday, June 22nd and join us in the fight against pancreatic cancer!
This event registration for $40 (adults) and $10 (15 and under) includes your entry to the Tournament, continental breakfast, entertainment, t-shirt, speakers and a silent auction.

Step Two: Then click on "Donate Now" and pay your $40 registration fee. If you are part of a team, make sure in the "referral" area you put the team name.
Cannot attend the walk, and still want to make a donation or support a team or individual?

A birdie is a score of one stroke better than par for any golf hole. PGA TOUR professionals are expected to make an average of 1,500 to 2,000 birdies during the 2014 Travelers Championship. The more pledges-per-birdie you gather from family and friends, the more funds you’ll raise.
Here are some examples of pledges-per-birdies (Examples are based on 1,500 birdies total):
$.01 per birdie = $15.00
$.05 per birdie = $75.00
$.10 per birdie = $150.00
$1.00 per birdie = $1,500.00
The donation minimum is $5. Checks must be made payable to “Travelers Championship” and mailed to: J.H. Cohn LLP, 180 Glastonbury Blvd., Glastonbury, CT 06033. Remember to include on the Memo line "Sunrise 18-Hole Stroll" and the name of the participant that you are supporting.
