Brittany Vose - Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research

Brittany Vose

A Stroll for Dad

In 2009, I created the 18-Hole Stroll at the Travelers Championship, a national golf event attracting participants from across the country. I started this event when I was just 13 years old to honor my father, John Vose, who passed away from pancreatic cancer at 44 when I was only 5 years old. Even as a child, I was motivated to bring awareness and funding to this devastating disease and I’m glad to have found the Lustgarten Foundation to partner with for this event. The eight previous 18-Hole Strolls have collectively raised nearly $415,000, and in 2018, we reached the half million-dollar milestone. I am so grateful for how much this event has grown and for how much I have helped raise for research. I know my father would be so proud.
