Stacy Waldman Bass - Lustgarten Foundation: Pancreatic Cancer Research

Stacy Waldman Bass

I love you mom Small

Stacy BassFor the past 14 years, fine art and editorial photographer Stacy Bass has been capturing the essence of a place through an intuitive use of light, color and composition.  Her signature images of architecture, interiors, landscapes and gardens have resulted in three solo exhibitions and numerous awards. Her photography is part of many private, corporate and hotel collections and has been featured extensively in national and international magazines and books. Stacy is also the author/photographer of two bestselling titles: In the Garden (Melcher Media, 2012) and Gardens at First Light (athome books, 2015).  Stacy is a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University and New York University’s School of Law.

Outside of her professional work, Stacy is very involved in her local community and is an active and engaged philanthropist.  She is devoted to her family, a passionate supporter of theater and the arts, an avid traveler and still, a pretty good skier.  Stacy finds inspiration in nature and is obsessed with sharing the beauty of the everyday.

I love you, Mom is an extraordinary living tribute that Stacy created and curated on Facebook beginning in early 2018 to build a community of support for her mother, Jessica Waldman, during a year – long fight with pancreatic cancer.   In partnership with the Lustgarten Foundation, a book version of the project will be launched on Mother’s Day 2019 to help raise funds for critical cancer research.
