What is Classy?
Classy is the digital fundraising tool the Lustgarten Foundation uses to help make giving easy. Through the online platform you can register for events, collect donations, create campaigns and find resources to connect with supporters and make an impact.
-
Is my information secure?
Yes. Classy uses the latest technology available to ensure your transaction data is protected with the utmost rigor and security. Classy is Payment Card Industry, Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Level 1 Compliant (PCI DSS)–a widely accepted set of standards published by major credit card companies to ensure service providers maintain a secure environment for customer information. This means their systems have been evaluated by independent auditors and passed the highest security protocols set by PCI DSS. Level 1 is the highest certification offered.

Why do I have to pay a registration fee?
We require a registration fee to ensure we are raising critical funds for research through the walk program. Your personal donation (the registration fee) demonstrates your commitment to the cause and will inspire others to give. And remember, the Lustgarten Foundation is the only pancreatic cancer organization where 100% of the money raised funds pancreatic cancer research.
-
How much is the registration fee?
Event registration fees vary slightly by location, but on average, the fee is $50. Please refer to the specific walk page for exact registration fees. If you register on the day of the walk/run, the registration fee is typically $5 to $10 more. This fee can be covered by your personal donation, donations from friends and family or any combination. Your fee is not due until the day of the walk/run.
-
I want to bring my children with me to the walk/run. Do they have to register? Do they also have to pay a fee?
Children under 15 do not have to register for a walk/run unless they would like a t-shirt. The cost of a t-shirt for a child is $15. Participants aged 16 and older should register and are required to meet the registration fee. All children under age 18 are required to have a guardian and the guardian must sign a participation waiver on their behalf.

The Lustgarten Foundation receives thousands of individual donations year-round from events taking place across the country. Our staff works diligently to process and post these donations to individual fundraising pages and your patience is greatly appreciated. Donations received on the day of an event take 6-8 weeks to be reflected on personal fundraising pages. Mailing your donations in batches as you collect them can help speed the process.
