The Lustgarten Foundation exists to fund research for pancreatic cancer. We are committed to transforming pancreatic cancer into a curable disease and know research is fundamental to changing patient outcomes. In fact, it is the only way to give patients a better chance for long-term survival.
- Early Detection – The majority of pancreatic cancers are identified after the disease has metastasized, so we are committed to funding the world’s best early detection research.
- Personalized Medicine – Using individual genetic and tumor markers, doctors can create treatment strategies customized to each patient’s needs.
- New Drug Development – We fund research at every stage of the process from basic, pre-clinical research to clinical studies and trials.
