We are deeply saddened by the passing of beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend, Cindy Leff, from pancreatic cancer.
She was boundlessly creative, embodying strength, grace, and a timeless sense of style. Cindy was the heart and soul of her loved ones, holding her husband, children, parents, and friends close to her heart. Her family fondly recalls, “She was the embodiment of patience and calm. In the midst of any storm, she was the soothing presence that brought comfort to everyone around her. Her intentional and honest way of living served as an inspiration to us all.”
She passed away peacefully August 21, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
Cindy’s zest for life and infectious joy touched everyone who knew her. Kerri Kaplan, President of the Lustgarten Foundation and a close friend, shared, “Cindy was an extraordinarily beautiful person. To know her was to love her. She brought color and light into the world, and she will be profoundly missed by all that knew her.”
Her legacy lives on through her devoted husband, Michael, and their two wonderful children, Lily and Jared, who were the center of her universe. Her joyful spirit and unwavering honesty left an indelible mark on all she knew, and her memory will continue to inspire and uplift us all.
To honor Cindy’s life and continue her fight against pancreatic cancer, her family has established the Cindy Leff Memorial Fund. This fund will support the Lustgarten Foundation in our mission to transform pancreatic cancer into a curable disease.
